Side Effects

Took this look a few days ago, and was really sad cause I thought all the files got corrupted! Thankfully they didn't, so here's today's look! It doesn't look it, but it seriously was like 20 degrees or something when these were taken. And the wind was blowing so hard! I can deal with rain and snow, but the second the wind starts blowing, I do not stop complaining!!

Beanie by Pacsun. (You cannot believe how much I have been wearing this. The answer is baaaasically everyday, haha!)

Aren't these tights from Banggood cute?! I found them hiding in my closet--I had forgotten I even had them! I felt like adding a bit of a "cartooney" element to this otherwise kind of dark look would make it so much more fun!

And these AWESOME shoes are by SwayChic!! I relly love the detail of the buckle and how it's not quite a full boot. Good for winter, even though a bit of skin is showing!!

Me & you, as chilled as 1972

(Coat by Banggood, dress by Oasap, and necklace by Romwe)

My hometown totally got dumped with a foot of snow!! We don't generally get this much snow, so this is really fun for once. Our truck broke down the day before Thanksgiving, so Josh and I ended up being about a week late going home to visit my family for the holidays--but in a way I'm thankful for that, because I would have missed all this wonderful snow had we come earlier! (Well, that and the auto shop told us if we'd broken down on the freeway instead of in the city, the engine probably would have exploded. I guess sometimes things happen for a reason, right?) It's funny because at first, when I found out I wouldn't be going home for actual Thanksgiving, I was pretty upset. But when I thought about it...the random people who helped us push our truck, my parents who helped us figure out what to do with it, Josh's parents for getting it towed and fixing it, my friend for driving us home the night it broke, our other friends for driving us to the autobody shop...well, there's really a lot of people and things to be thankful for, aren't there? Sometimes I think it's easy to forget these things.

Here's the song that inspired this look. "Sweater Weather" by The Neighborhood

The day Josh took these photos, it was the coldest it's ever been in this city since 1972! It was -15 degrees fahrenheit! (This is the street I grew up on!)

Coat by Banggood, and dress by Oasap

Necklace by Romwe.

It was so cold, but Josh always likes to have fun :P

Oregon is a really beautiful place!

This winter season, I hope you all get to spend time with your families and pets and loved ones--we all have so much to be thankful for! (Even if you get snowed in for a week!)

High rise drift off skies

Hey everyone!! Long time no post! I've been mostly without a camera for a long while, but have been taking a lot of photos recently, so here's one of the outfits!

It's been really cold so far this fall, and, oddly enough, NOT raining! If you know anything about the Pacific Northwest from the USA, you know it rains...a lot. Like 90% of the year it's raining, I shit you not. (If you can have decent looking hair here, believe me, you can have it anywhere! So hard to control the frizz!)

Anyway, my cardigan and dress are both from Romwe!!

Have had this necklace from RIRE Boutique for a while, but I still really like it!!

Nothing drives like a Camero // Beleated summer post!

Hey everyone! First of all I need to say WOW, I have been so busy it's been ridiculous! I promise, I haven't forgotten about Faltering Bird! Anyway, I have a lot of photos to share with you guys from a recent trip I took to California to go gold panning!

We stumbled upon this car overgrown with ivy and we couldn't resist taking some photos!

Really love this "Nothing drvies like a Camero" top from Jack of All Trades!! They have some super cool t-shirts!

The lighting was SO magical!

These wines were so cute! We thought it was a pretty fitting label for camping! It's still SO warm and nice where we live, I'm really enjoying this summer. As we're still in the hotter summer months, having comfortable yet stylish swimwear is important, and both Kohl's and Roman's (plus size) have lots of awesome options to choose from!

Speaking of swimsuits and swimming, I had so much fun swimming in this river and diggin' around in the dirt for gold! Here's Josh gold panning with his mom & grandparents!

It's like real life Minecraft, haha!

Some of the gold in one of the pans!

Some really awesome little pies Josh's grandpa was making--they were so easy to make and so good!

We ended up taking a bunch of photos in front of old cars...I guess I must really like trucks!

Bag is by Bang Good!

The day we got back from California we actually ended up going to a local festival called the Oregon Country Fair! It was super fun, we like to go every year!

This guy was outside blessing people I think! He was really cheerful, he made me happy!

Heavy Metal Thunder

These photos were actually taken awhile back, and for some reason I keep forgetting to post them! What's wrong with me, haha! When Michelle took these we were driving around and happened to pass this AWESOME old Ford truck, and we had to stop, it went so well with my sort of "grungy" outfit!

Top is from Sheinside, and vest is from Choies.

I don't know why but I just love junkyards and the like!

This wolf shirt from Sheinside is one of my favourite printed t-shirts! Necklace is by Angel Court.

Love love LOVE these shoes from Cozbest! I want too wear them again on the 4th of July!

Also, Michelle took some photos of Josh this day too, so I wanted to include them!! Josh actually cut his hair short really recently, so looking at these photos is sooo weird to me!

He looks so amused at the eagle mural, haha!
