Trip to Mt. Hood, Oregon!

Recently Josh & I took a trip up to the mountain with a bunch of our close friends!! It was really fun, and strangely enough I was wearing enough layers that I was HOT. In the snow. Go figure!

I think Ariel must have been cold!

Top is from Sheinside, and pants are from BangGood!!

My mom got me these fat Doc Martens from Goodwill! I love them!

It was super snowy on the way up!

In the last 30 seconds of our like, hour and a half drive, we started to need the chains so Josh just sort of...pushed the car the rest of the way while Matt drove!

As you can see from this photo of what we were doing while they were moving the car, you can tell Jenna and I were lots and lots of help.

Some of the snow drifts were so big you'd have to climb out your upstairs window to get outside!

They took LookBook pictures too!!

EEEEEEEEEEEE

This guy honked his horn at us, haha.

A picture of Josh & I that Ariel took on her camera!!

Jenna & I at home hangin' out with Miley!!

Oh also, before I forget, I need to share this all with you!
As we were leaving, we noticed the sidewalk had been shoveled, so we walked on it on our way back to the car. There were large drifts of snow to one side of the sidewalk, and as we walked by, an adult man JUMPS OUT OF THE DRIFT and goes "RAHHHHHHH!!!!" at us. When we were actually driving away in the car, we noticed him filling back in the hole he busted out of, presumably to go back inside and then jump out and scare the next group of people that walked by.

I don't know, just the thought of him sitting in his cold little hovel waiting to scare random passersby just gets me, I'm seriously like losing my mind over that guy.

Anyway, that is all!!

Faltering Bird x Pacsun // EASY RIDER // Thank you for 13,000+ fans on LookBook!

Like I mentioned a little over a week ago, I was lucky enough to get some freebies from Pacsun, and now that I've modeled some of them, I'm really excited to show off these photos! Most of these are taken, again, by my lovely friend Michelle, and some are by Josh as usual.

I modeled this outfit and the overall theme around a movie I really like, called "Easy Rider" about two friends taking a trip across america on their motorcycles. It's pretty much a classic! Anyway, here's a kickass song used in the movie that I've always really liked. Check it out, it's called "The Pusher" by Steppenwolf.

These are the badass lookin' dudes from the movie!

More skulls! This guy used to live inside the pathetic cavernous hole where a stereo should be in our truck, but we don't have one, so he used to be shoved in there, waiting to terrify whoever looked inside. Haha. Dreamcatcher is from my dear blogger friend and owner of Galore, Beneath the Stars, Kendall!!

All of the above photos were by Michelle, and all of the following photos are by Josh!

Thanks Mr. Skull, for strategically blocking my underwear and making this shot possible! Hah.

Love that Josh got the reflections in the windshield in these ones!

Hope you guys enjoyed looking at this photos as much as we all did taking them, and I hope this gets ya'll in the mood for the summer, cause that shit is comin' up real fast now! Although Oregon is usually cold and rainy, Pacsun's Golden State of Mind blog always cheers me up--because being golden really is just a state of mind!

A look around our room!

So I've actually had most of these photos since summer, but never got around to posting them! Fairly soon Josh & I are moving from where we live right now to another place for awhile, so since this room is about to be kaput I figured I'd pay homage to it!

It's a pretty small room, but as you can see we have a lot of things to fill it up with! The blanket on the end of the bed is actually a poncho from Urban Outfitters. I think my favourtite part of this photo is my rabbit pelt neat the TV. I saw it once at a gift shop and it just looked so sad, I had to buy it.

Probably can't tell, but the photo on the wall is a crazy rainbow and pink pegasus painting from the 70's!

I actually made that dream catcher! My best friend taught me how!!

Got the globe from some people across the street for free when they were moving out! As you can tell from our TV, we're not really too big on watching TV, haha! Wolf print is from  my best friend from high school--she got it from a graduate student from her college!

My cluttered desk!! As you can tell, I like flowers and cats and birds motifs. And anime, haha!

The awesome pink floral frame is from Paccony!! I swear I'll never drink that alien head tequila--got it in Las Vegas!!

This side table is a favourite thing of mine. It was $10 from Goodwill, go figure!!

I actually got this scratching post toy from Paccony as well! My cat Bounty really likes it!

She's pretty talented and can stand on top of it! The other day she was jumping around chasing reflections, and she TOUCHED THE CEILING. I can't believe her sometimes!!

Bite bite bite!!

So, what do your rooms/ houses look like? I'd love to see! Since we're moving, I'd like to get decorating ideas...and I always love seeing how other people live!!

// NOUVEAU SUFOKIA // Let the noise run through your head

Earlier this week Josh & I hung out with our friend Michelle! She's one of my best friends from high school, and she's often really busy so getting the chance to hang out with her is always fun--and she's the fabulous photographer who took almost all the photos in this post!

Also, this outfit is based on a French online videogame I play online with my friends Jennifer & Bobby, called WAKFU! I linked to Jennifer's Sufokia outfit, since all 3 of us are doing themed outfits!! I made my outfit girly, but incorporated inspired elements to be reminiscent of the armor you wear in the game. I wore the metal filigree necklace and the lace shirt to emulate the detail of a breastplate, heavy metal bracelets to remind you of bracers, and high shoes and tall socks to mimic the idea of tall leather boots! The title "Sufokia" comes from the land me & my friends are citizens to--it's a sun bleached beach town with lots of sand and soft pastel hues.

(Top is by Chicwish, and skirt is by RIRE Boutique!)

Here's the song that inspired this post! It's called "Jane Doe" and it's by Rebecca & Fiona. Usually I make these embedded videos smaller, but this one is neat, so I'll leave the full thing  here this time!

Necklace by Romwe.

Skirt & belt by RIRE Boutique

Michelle is doing a project for her portfolio and needs photos of couples together, so we rocked this heart for some photos!

It looks like he's so sleepppyyy

This skirt needs to be wayyyy longer. Every time I see these photos that "Ass Everywhere" song by Freedia kinda just starts playing in my head, lol.

Josh took a few photos of me & Michelle! Isn't she cute?!

Usually I hate photos of my face and faces in general and find them cloying as fuck, but I really like these ones of me and Michelle! XD
