Autumn safari party!! // Annual Tomato War

These pictures are actually super old from this summer, and I somehow I forgot to click "submit" on this post--it's been sitting here this whole time, so I figured in an effort to remind myself of how much I miss summer, I will finally post these!
Also, I wanted to apologize for my lack of blogging! I've been SUPER busy and the weather here hasn't been good for taking pictures.

I have a lot of looks coming up soon from working with aSociete (who came up here from San Fran to see me!) that I'm excited to show off, so I hope to post those soon!!

Anyway, these pictures are from my dad's company's "Tomato War" this year! He works for one of the biggest Organic food's distributors in the USA, and every year, there's always old tomatoes left over, and somehow a long time ago they started the tradition of making mock battles with the left overs.
Pictured is a bouncy castle, that I'm sad to say I was over the height limit for. NO FUN ALLOWED.

Kind of reminds me of the meteor / metorite that hit Russia yesterday! I'm assuming you all heard about it so there's no point going into detail, but dang! I'm prepared to hear Bruce Willis Armageddon jokes for the next month. My heart goes out to all the poor people who got showered in glass from their windows exploding, how scary! I'm  just super glad that the asteroid that passed by us the same day didn't hit! Sounded like it was a pretty close call, cosmically speaking.

Snow Leopard

The weather recently has been so interesting! It's been raining non stop for the last few days, but before that, it was foggy for almost a WEEK straight. And all of the trees were all frosty like this! Isn't it pretty??

BLACKJACK // Snow on the Mountain

Aruuugh there's snow so close I can SEE IT!! It's what I'm looking at, in this photo. I wish that is was at a lower elevation so I can have a snow day, since I'm still secretly still like five or something. Anyway, finally styled my UNIF Hellbound heels for a look! They're so much taller than my Jeffrey Campbell lita's! Lita's are a breeze to walk in, but these...I sort of feel like a need a helmet. Won't stop me from climbing mountains in them, though!

New Years 2013

For New Years my boyfriend Josh, and friends Jenna & Matt & I all went to a party in a warehouse--same warehouse party we went to last year on New Years! Last year it was a bit weirder and had some Gregorian chanting or something at midnight. It was weird, but amazing!

FATAL FAMILIA

Yaaay so here's some photos my friend Michelle M. who I've known for like a million years took! She likes taking photos of faces, so although I generally find showing faces to be pretty unnecessary to fashion blogging, here's my squishy little face.

This looks is named Fatal Familia, after the illness Fatal Familia Insomnia. It's genetic (so don't worry, you don't have it if one of your parent's doesn't!) but basically one day you wake up and NEVER GO TO SLEEP AGAIN. Ever. And then you die approximitaly 6 months later. All the while having vivid terrible hallucinations, I'm sure. There's this one guy I read about that didn't die though, and has lived for like 20 years without sleeping, and runs a very successful farm. Way to cheat death, guy! You're awesome. Anyway, I suck at sleeping recently, so whenever I do this disease comes to mind. I'm actually writing a screenplay about it! It's awesome, I promise. 

Oh P.S., the hair is a WIG, from AbHair!! It's pretty similar to my own hair though so if you didn't notice at first I wouldn't be surprised!

Michelle's photos are really good! I want a camera this nice someday, too. Josh was taking pictures of me at the same time, and although they're both good photographers, it was amazing just HOW different their photos were turning out based upon the camera. It was a real eye opener!!
