Happy Halloween!! + Faltering Bird's 1 year anniversary!

 

!!HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

Here's a creepy little dude hangin' out in an old truck! My mom actually took these photos, I haven't been outside when it's been nice and not raining for like a week, it sucks. Went to a few house parties in Portland & Eugene though, it was pretty fun! Now it's Halloween and I'm way to tired to even do anything on the actual day, haha!

Anyway, I'm super fond of Halloween cause I met Josh (My boyfriend & photographer!) the day before Halloween 2 years ago! (Also, oddly, it's my parents wedding anniversary on Oct. 30th, too!) I always really liked Halloween, but now I associate it with love, and being warm and cozy when it's shitty and raining outside. Probably strange to get warm fuzzies when you think about Halloween, but whatever!

Today is also Faltering Bird's ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!! I've been updating this blog for exactly one year now, yay! (So many anniversary's in one post!)

PS: Watch this music video--it's called Windshield Smasher, by Black Moth Super Rainbow. It's sort of Halloween themed, and the song is freaking SICK!! I only watched the video once, but it seems to me to be a message of being forced to conform which I thought was interesting.

I've been wearing this floral cross tank from Heart OMG a lot recently. It's super comfortable, and I got it in a size large so I can wear it as a dress, too! Sweater is from Romwe.

Faltering against the autumn sky

Urbban Waxx: Wax-a-thon!

You may have noticed a few weeks ago I posted about a charity event in Portland, Oregon at a local salon called Urban Waxx. Here are a few photos from the event! Here's my Joshyyyy

Mateusz and the lovely Jenna of All That Glitters!! I drug them along for free beer an doughnuts haha. Also, I love that having a dirty camera lens makes for awesome magical glittery photos!!

This room was really pretty. Can I pleeease have that thing on the wall in my bedroom? Thanks.

Their salon was super awesome! The awesome lady pictured waxed my eyebrows killer good!

Post Apocalyptic shooting range // Stevie Wonder- Very Superstitious

Today I want to share with you my outfit, and the outfits of my really good friends, Jenna & Ariel!! I'm in the middle, Jenna is on the left, and Ariel is on the right!

We took the photos inside a construction site. It's a site that's currently in use, so we actually had to be really careful not to get caught! There's a shooting range across the field out back, so with all the graffiti and dilapidated buildings and sneaking around and guns going off, it kinda felt like we were in some kind of  apocalyptic war zone!

For some reason luckily, all the photos each of us girls took were so painless! Sometimes with blogging, you have to take so many pictures in order to get once decent one, it can start to feel pretty redundant. However, this was the only full body standing picture I took and it was fine! Thank god haha. Top is from Crash & Burn Apparel, and skirt is from Romwe!!

I didn't know this until just recently, but the Angel Court necklace is actually a real naturally collected piece of an antler! So cool.

There were goats outside!

They both saw us from afar and GALLOPED AND PRANCED all the way over to us and clawed at the fence until we pet them. They were so ridiculously cute. Gahhh!!

One of the goats was actually peeing in this photo but I edited it out. HAHA.

Bangles have been one of my favourite things to wear recently. If you'll notice, almost all of my looks have stacked bracelets! Do you like the look, too??
