Post Apocalyptic shooting range // Stevie Wonder- Very Superstitious

Today I want to share with you my outfit, and the outfits of my really good friends, Jenna & Ariel!! I'm in the middle, Jenna is on the left, and Ariel is on the right!

Song that inspired this look:

All of our full outfits! Incase any of you guys were interested, Jenna's blog, All That Glitters, is here, and Ariel's blog, Tainted Sweetheart, is here!!

We took the photos inside a construction site. It's a site that's currently in use, so we actually had to be really careful not to get caught! There's a shooting range across the field out back, so with all the graffiti and dilapidated buildings and sneaking around and guns going off, it kinda felt like we were in some kind of  apocalyptic war zone!

For some reason luckily, all the photos each of us girls took were so painless! Sometimes with blogging, you have to take so many pictures in order to get once decent one, it can start to feel pretty redundant. However, this was the only full body standing picture I took and it was fine! Thank god haha. Top is from Crash & Burn Apparel, and skirt is from Romwe!!

Long necklace is from Angel Court, and brass necklace is from Vanessa Mooney.

I didn't know this until just recently, but the Angel Court necklace is actually a real naturally collected piece of an antler! So cool.

Blue Sky stacked bracelets by Angel Court, top bracelet on the right by Shop Lately, and bottom bracelet by Chicnova.

Purse by Shop Lately.

Boots by Durango.

Wish I could go back with another outfit someday and take photos with these barrels! They're neat!

There were goats outside!

They both saw us from afar and GALLOPED AND PRANCED all the way over to us and clawed at the fence until we pet them. They were so ridiculously cute. Gahhh!!

One of the goats was actually peeing in this photo but I edited it out. HAHA.

Byebye for now!!~

Shop Lately Sale: Bloggers Picks!!

Soo one of my favourite websites to snag deals from, Shop Lately, is having a sale!! For this sale, they decided to work with a few of us bloggers. We picked our favourite items from their website, and they're having a sale with the items we picked!!

I've been sporting goods from Shop Lately for over a year at this point, and they are one of my dearest and favourite places to shop, so I hope you'll check out this rad sale! (Their prices are already awesome as is, so this is a great opportunity!)

I often feel like bloggers can sound insincere (Especially with how heavily sponsored some bloggers are, and especially when talking about sales) but this is one I helped work on myself, so I truly am quite excited about it!

Click here to go to the sale!!
(Also, if you click "like" on their FB page, you can get a promo code for additional savings!)

This was my number 1 pick from their website. It's so awesome, every time I look at it I get really excited! They even named the item after my blog! It kind of fits considering it's a bird, doesn't it? "The Faltering Bird" necklace!!

I wasn't aware this was a two piece set (as I don't have pierced ears) but this one was far too awesome to pass up!

Bangles have been one of my favourite things to wear recently. If you'll notice, almost all of my looks have stacked bracelets! Do you like the look, too??

Delicate yet grungy!

The jewels on the inside of the spikes are a nice touch, don't you think??

Hope all you lovelies find something that jumps out at you in the sale!!

xoxo, ashlei

PS: Here's all the other lovely bloggers that worked on the sale with me!!

Color Run & Dinner with Chevy

Recently I was lucky enough to be invited to go to The Color Run & a lovely dinner with Chevrolet at the Yakuza Lounge!! I ended up being too sick the morning of to participate in the 5k run (Bummer, was really looking forward to the workout!!) but I did go to the dinner, so here are some photos!

If I was rich, I'd buy a car because our truck kinda blows chunks and breaks a lot. However I'm not, so we're stuck with our truck. At least we're lucky enough to have a vehicle, that I'm thankful for! (Although I do wish we could have  something less gas-guzzeling or more environmentally friendly than a truck...)
Anyway, this is the Chevy Spark! I guess it comes in pink which is fucking baller.

Whiskey & lemonade is like...my go-to drink when I can't think of what to ask for. Also I have no idea why one of these is a different colour, it's the same drink, haha.

Lookit that little shiteater

The lounge had a really beautiful garden out back! No one was really back there except us, I was surprised since it was so awesome!

I love this dress from Chicwish & foxtail from Romwe!!

Spying on the other guests :P

These little guys were really neat!

They let us check out the inside of the car, it was really neat. It had a touch screen!! I accidentally locked myself inside.

The little kid in the background is the owners son. He was SO adorable!

This is wicked cool.

They gave us sunglasses for the race so the explosions of color wouldn't get in our eyes! Too bad I never got to use them for the race :((

Part of dinner! This was good.

More dinner! They must have brought out a dozen and a half different dishes to choose from over the course of the night, it was awesome, and everything was SO good!

These looked good, but I don't really eat meat other than fish except upon rare occasions so I didn't have any.

Swag! I love stupid little bags like this.

The event was super fun, and I'm really happy I was invited to go! Maybe someday I'll actually get to participate in the race!

Runnin' down a dream

I kept seeing this train track & field dress on website after website, and I kept turning it down over and over, and when I finally saw it on Chicwish too, I finally decided to get it. It actually reminds me a lot of Oregon landscapes! (Which is why I decided to pair this landscape dress with a landscape behind it!)

Here's the song that inspired this outfit:

Can I please wear this everyday? Ughhhh

This ram skull ring...is my new baby. I keep wanting to wear it but also keep smashing it on myself. I need to learn to not swing my arms around like an angry gorilla, lol.

You better believe I can't even fit into size L pants! Our culture really loves to demonize weight, doesn't it? :/ I'm sure you'll be eventually hearing a rant/discussion along those lines from from me at some point, hah.

RUNDOWN
dress- Chicwish
vest & eagle necklace- Romwe
skinny stack of bracelets- Angel Court
beaded bracelets & silver ring- Vanessa Mooney

boots- Durango

Friends of Trees: Friends of Trees' mission is to bring people in the Portland-Vancouver and Eugene-Springfield metro areas together to plant and care for city trees and green spaces.

Sisters of the perpetual Indulgence: A leading-edge Order of queer nuns. Since their first appearance in San Francisco on Easter Sunday, 1979, the Sisters have devoted ourselves to community service, ministry and outreach to those on the edges, and to promoting human rights, respect for diversity and spiritual enlightenment. They believe all people have a right to express their unique joy and beauty and we use humor and irreverent wit to expose the forces of bigotry, complacency and guilt that chain the human spirit.
