Went to the beach with a bunch of our really good friends a few days ago!! It was a super fun trip and I pretty much lived in this outfit the whole time! (Minus the shoes, as I realized were...pretty hard to walk with in the sand, haha!)

This little guy was seriously such an asshole just for the sake of being one. Josh & Francesca were trying to feed all the other seagulls, and this guy would get in their way, feathers all fluffed up, JUST so they couldn't get the food, and then walk away. He...didn't even want it for himself. XD Looks like he broke his leg at one point pretty bad. I wonder if it made the poor little guy jaded?!

Favourite eyeglasses-- A post I have been meaning to make!

Eyeglasses are a sometimes understated,  often necessary adornment that also doubles as a fashion accessory! I've been meaning to make a post on eyeglasses for quite sometime, but easily it always seemed to slip my mind since I don't personally wear glasses myself. Above are my favourites from the brand Persol! Persol eyeglasses are super cute!!

I find I take them for granted as a needed object, but the more I think about it I realize just how lucky I am to have nearly perfect vision--one of the few super healthy things about me. Above are my favourite picks from Ray Ban!!

And on a similar topic, I've always wondered, what is YOUR take on wearing fake glasses if you personally don't have poor vision? Should wearing glasses be left to those with poor vision, or is it ok to wear them as simply an accessory??

Sorry for the lack of posts!!

First of all I wanted to apologize to everyone for my lack of posting for more or less the last two weeks! Josh & I went out of town and while we were there he busted up his ankle/foot pretty bad, so we never got a chance to come back home, or be around my computer with all my blogging files on it/a computer with Photoshop!

We have been taking lots of daily outfit shots though, so there's a lot to come, I just need to find the time to post everything.

Birdy doesn't like Jesus.

Josh's horrible looking foot! Feet are gross but I wanted to show off how nasty it looked. This was right after it happened, but after a few days it sort of looked like someone had stuck a straw in it and inflated it all huge like a foot-shaped balloon. I guess that happens sometimes when you skate though?!

We were initially going to Portland to hang out and see Josh's grandparents, then come back to Eugene, and then go back up for a convention there, but we just ended up staying since Josh wasn't able to drive back to Eugene with his foot like that. After awhile his foot was manageable though so we picked up my friend Kimi at the airport for the convention!

If there ever was a photo to describe how this convention was, Pikachu smoking a cigar is a pretty damn good way to explain it.

While we were in Vancouver at the convention, the Red Lion across the river in Portland burned down!! We had all been hanging out at a Red Lion too, so a lot of our friends totally thought we ate it! Good thing it was the abandoned one across the river that burned down and not the one with thousands of people staying at it!

Mt. Hood always looks so pretty!!

Anyway, I have one last thing to address--I've been getting a lot of requests to publish the winners of past giveaways that have been held on my blog. I used to openly publish the names of the winners, directly copied down from the information they provided me with. Colour Bug by Kevin Murpy--From AbHair!

Today I want to share with you something super awesome! As I'm sure you've noticed, in one of my more recently looks, my hair was ombre orange & pink. You may have wondered why it was only like that for one look. The answer is the above: Colour Bug, by Kevin Murphy! 

The awesome people at AbHair were nice enough to let me try out a few, and I'm really happy! I seriously want to wear this stuff everyday now!

Kevin Murphy thinks that hair colour should be just as easy to apply and remove as makeup--and I agree! Take it from someone who has had dark brown hair their whole life that used to be past their hips when curled--I've only bleached my hair once and it's now almost shorter than my chest from damage. Damaging your hair with bleach and colour is not always an option, or even feasible at all.

It's really easy to apply, too. Just put on some gloves and brush the big "K" over your hair and you'll be transformed! For me, it only takes about five minutes to get it looking how I want! And for a more rad effect, you can totally mix the colours to make other colours, or do an ombre effect!

Anyways, I get mine from AbHair, and they're pretty much the cheapeest option online! Go try them out, because I know a lot of you are dying to!!

I'm not sure it's possible for me to describe in words how comfortable this outfit is. I don't have very many long t-shirts, but I adore them. I think there's definitely a way to style it without looking sloppy, but still being comfortable.

Bad Moon Rising

I'm really excited to finally show off my Colour Bug hair colour! It arrived about a week about but I was unable to style it until recently. It's really cool powder hair dye that stays in for a day, and comes out when you wash your hair! It only takes about 5 minutes to put in, too! I got mine from AbHair!!
