ALEXIS Magazine finally arrived!

So far I've been featured now in 4 issues of this magazine I believe, but the first hard copy finally arrived to me recently!

I really love how their magazine is set up. It's really cute, and also has a lot of interesting articles!!

This photo is so old! It was from when I went and stayed in a pretty house along the Rouge River with my boyfriend & parents this past summer! I can't wait for it to be this warm again!! Also I'm showing my face for once! What a rarity, haha. (I kinda look like an alien in this photo too, lol)

It's been raining a TON and spitting snow (and not the pretty kind, just the crappy kind), and on top of that I've been doing pretty terrible after getting my wisdom teeth out just recently. Bad Moon Rising

I was really excited to wear my moon tunic dress from Your Eyes Lie for the first time! I'm really weird and superstitious about full moons, so having a crescent moon on my chest makes me feel a little bit better! (The moon on my shirt is actually about as full as the moon is in the sky right now, oddly enough!)

I am OBSESSED with the feather hairclip I got from Shop Lately! I got two of them! I'm actually wearing the feather clip, and a feather headband alongside each other. The feather waistband is from my friend Salla in Finland!!

Designer feature: Yigal Azrouël

Today I would like to share with you some of my favourite designs from the mind of Yigal Azrouël, an NYC based fashion designer.

I love this item in particular for two reasons: One, it's lambskin, so it's built to last. Secondly, it's versatile! Not only is it a jacket, but the sleeves can be removed to create a vest, for a whole different feel and look! Whenever you can, purchase things that have more than one function--this way, you're always getting the best of both worlds!


Always with a modern freshness, Yigal's "Pastiche Scarf" draws my attention more than any other garment in his ready to wear collection currently. As if the opposite colours are not bold enough, the pattern itself steals your eye away! (I'd love to own this scarf!!)

He is is well known for his feminine designs, and simply stellar draping abilities! (Just look at how delicately this Cashmere Knit top lays, it's wonderful and girly, yet bold and modern!)

Yigal Azrouël garments come highly recommended by me, so check out his website if you get the chance, they're seriously stellar!!

Courtney is the first person that I don't know in real life on LookBook who really started to talk to me frequently. I've been a member of many forums online over the course of my life, but when it comes to LookBook sometimes it seems...a bit quiet, to me. So many wonderful people and wonderful comments, but even after months of being on LookBook I felt like I'd never found a real friend. Courtney and I started talking one day over the LookBook messaging system sometime last year, and since then we talk nearly everday! I can't imagine not having her to talk to about clothes, personal matters, and just life. It's nice to find someone who really listens to you, and isn't just waiting for their turn to talk. She means so much to me!
